Drilling Technician

  • Monday-Friday (11:00pm-07:30am); Saturdays as needed
  • Trainee or Experienced.
  • Wage starting at $18. Additional DOE

You will be responsible for understanding work instructions received and ensuring that all jobs are processed per specifications.  You will be required to read blueprints and measure in both inches and millimeters.  You will be responsible for programming your machine to run the job under the correct settings at all times.  In addition, you will be required to inspect inbound product for deformities as well as inspecting outbound work for quality issues.

You will also be involved in the preparation of drill kits/tools in order to process jobs through the department.  As time permits, you will also be trained to read and interpret spec sheets noting what type and amount of drills are needed for jobs passing through the Drilling Department.  As time permits, you will be trained on the operation of specific drill machines. 

  • Position requires the following:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • High comfort level with time-critical situations
  • A positive attitude
  • A can-do attitude
  • Must be able to work Saturdays (some, not all)
